Future Banks
Impact First Guatemala is increasing its reach into new communities all the time and we need your help. We have plans to start new Women First Banks in the municipalities of San Pedro Carcha and San Juan Chamelco as well as to allow new clients to join existing WFBs.
At the moment 100% of the microloans we disburse in Guatemala are paid for by private donors. So we are calling on you to help us start another Women First Bank!
If you, individually, or by creating a Lending Team with coworkers, friends, relatives, classmates, clubmates, neighbours, can raise at least $5,000, it will pay for the first 25 clients to open a Women First Bank.
Contact us with your own or your Lending Team’s name and to make your donation.
To help you understand the importance of your support, we will provide you with quarterly updates about the WFB your group is supporting, and the businesses and progress of its clients. We also offer every sponsor of a Women First Bank the potential to visit our office in Guatemala and meet some of the women they are supporting.
Our current individual donors and Lending Teams are finding this program a great way to have a direct connection to women in need and to make a contribution to a revolving loan fund that will continue to be lent out for years to come.
