EXPERIENCE WITH DEPTH. PERSPECTIVE WITH PURPOSE.
A life of leadership.
A commitment
to people.
Ryan Keith Pfahler brings four decades of leadership experience, an entrepreneurial perspective, and a deeply personal understanding of resilience to his work with individuals and organizations.
A leadership and life consultant, keynote speaker, author, and creator of The Impact First Blueprint™, Ryan helps people connect personal conviction with purposeful action. His work reaches across professional performance, relationships, spiritual growth, emotional awareness, physical habits, financial priorities, and the stewardship of a meaningful life.
Ryan’s perspective extends beyond education. He brings 12 years of personal business development experience, having owned four businesses and franchised one business. That experience informs his understanding of initiative, ownership, decision-making, and the demands of building something that matters.
His career in education and athletics began in 1986 and includes service as a teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and elementary and middle school principal. He spent 13 years leading Coopersville Middle School, which was recognized as a Michigan School to Watch in 2010. He later taught AP Psychology and Honors American History at IMG Academy, a world leader in sports education, working in an environment shaped by ambition, discipline, and high expectations.
A former collegiate athlete, Ryan holds a BA in Physical Education with a Psychology minor from Hope College, an MA in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Superintendent Leadership from Grand Valley State University.
The personal story behind the work +
Ryan is the author of Broken Beginnings: Navigating Childhood Trauma, Infidelity and Addiction, which became an Amazon No. 1 bestseller in the Drug & Alcohol Abuse category. Drawing on childhood loss, family struggles, and restoration, he speaks candidly about the experiences people carry into their work and relationships. His message connects growth through adversity with the responsibility to live and lead intentionally.
Today, his consulting brings that experience together with a practical framework for people who want greater clarity, stronger relationships, and a legacy that reflects what they value most.
